National Championship Qualifier

The University of Colorado-Colorado Springs track team has only one qualifier into the 2010 NCAA Division-II Indoor Track and Field National Championship. This years National Championship will be at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, N.M., hosted by Adams State College

UCCS named an All-Academic team

The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs was named as one of the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association NCAA Division II Women’s Cross Country All-Academic Teams for the 2009 season the USTFCCCA announced Monday.

Blanton's homers go to waste as Martinez, Cowgirls sweep UCCS

Christina Blanton hit two home runs and a double but the Mountain Lions were still swept by the New Mexico Highlands Cowgirls in Sunday's doubleheader.

Hernandez double helps UCCS salvage doubleheader split vs. Highlands

Kailey Hernandez hit a two-run double in the sixth inning to lift the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs to a 7-5 victory over the New Mexico Highlands Cowgirls and a doubleheader split Saturday afternoon at Mountain Lion Field.
