Big bang in Albuquerque with a race and record for David Mueller

Twelve athletes, four school records, two NCAA provisional qualifiers, 8 season bests and numerous personal bests marked an outstanding day for the UCCS track & field team at the New Mexico Classic in Albuquerque.

Graham named field athlete of the week

Pole vaulter Lauren Graham of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday.

A tale of Two Cities

The Mountain Lion men’s and women’s track team had action in two cities today. The majority of the track team competed at the Joe Davies Open in Golden, hosted by Colorado Mines. A smaller group went to Boulder to compete at the Potts Indoor Invitational hosted by the University of Colorado.
